On behalf of SEAZA and Taipei Zoo, we cordially invite you to attend the 32nd SEAZA Conference to be held at Taipei Zoo, Taiwan, from October 23rd to 26th.
The conference is themed “Gathering for Rewilding”, and it also marks the 110th Anniversary of Taipei Zoo. We sincerely invite you to join the conference, and to celebrate this auspicious occasion with us. Your participation will make the whole event shine brightly.
In conjunction with the global movement “Reverse the Red”, the conference aims to ignite strategic cooperation and action to ensure the thriving of wild species and the sustainability of ecosystems from Asia to the world. It provides a platform for wildlife conservation professionals and researchers to share insights on conservation strategies, education, veterinary healthcare, and wildlife nutrition for rewilding.
We welcome oral presentations and posters from all SEAZA members. Your contribution to rewilding and species conservation will be highly valued. We look forward to your participation, and aim to establish and reinforce a networking platform for close collaboration in the future.

CALL FOR PAPERS
The theme of the 32nd SEAZA Conference is “Gathering for Rewilding”.
We invite papers from all members of SEAZA and others to present at the conference.
- Topics: please indicate the topics in the email.
- Animal health
- Animal training and Husbandry
- Nutrition
- Conservation and Research
- Animal welfare and Enrichment
- Education and Marketing
- Population management
- Zoo design
- All papers must be submitted in Microsoft word format (12 point Times New Roman font), in English and no more than 250 words.
- Please submit abstracts via e-mail to taipeizoo110th@gmail.com . When submitting, please indicate whether it is Oral or Poster presentation.
- The deadline for submission of abstracts is August 31, 2024.
- The acceptance of the abstracts will be announced on September 20, 2024 via emails.
- The abstract templates see as attachment.
- Presentations should not be longer than 15 minutes.
- All presentations must be done on the computer provided by Taipei Zoo. Please try to create a PC-compatible multimedia presentation and be sure to test your presentation on multiple computers.
- Posters should be displayed vertically (portrait format) and should be A0 paper size.
- Posters must be printed and brought to the conference no later than 9:30 am on Thursday, October 24, and the electronic file should be send as pdf before Oct 21.
- Include the following at the top of your poster: Title of poster, your name, job title, and institution.
